A 70-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, after a woman in her 40s was found dead at a house in North Swindon.

Emergency services were called to Standen Way, Blunsdon St Andrew, at around 2.30am this morning (21 June). They had received reports of the woman deceasing.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained and the suspect has since been held in police custody.

It's thought the man and woman were living together as a couple.

Wiltshire Police is urging anyone with information to call 101, quoting log 26 and Tuesday's date.
