Chippenham man arrested on suspicion of an imitation firearm
Officers found the weapon not to be real
A man's been arrested after reports of an imitation firearm in Chippenham.
Police were called around 9.20pm on July 18 to reports of a man seen carrying what looked like a firearm on Wood Lane.
When officers arrived they found the weapon not to be real.
Wiltshire Police have confirmed a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm.
He has been released on bail.
The force are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
