Man arrested following robbery and assault in Swindon
Two 14 year-old boys have also been questioned.
A man's been arrested in connection with an armed robbery and an assault in Swindon.
The armed robbery happened at Rivermead Skate Park shortly after 6pm on Monday - a man in his 30s was taken to hospital.
The following day, another man was taken to hospital after an assault in Regent Circus.
The suspect, in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of assault, robbery and possession of a firearm - two 14 year-old boys who were arrested have been released on bail.
Det Insp Rachel Hardy said: “Our officers are carrying out extensive enquiries in relation to these concerning incidents.
“We would like to hear from any potential witnesses who were in the area of the Rivermead Skate Park on Monday evening or in Regent Circus the following day.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage as this could potentially provide important evidence.
“We would like to thank the local community for their support and reassure them that there is not thought to be any ongoing threat.”
