Man arrested after serious assault at Foxhill motocross event

A man is in custody following a serious assault at the Foxhill motocross event in Upper Wanborough.

Police were called around 9.15pm yesterday to a report that a man in his 30s had been assaulted and sustained serious injuries.

The suspect, a man in his 30s who is known to the victim, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and has been taken into custody for questioning.

A cordon remains in place at the scene while enquiries are carried out.
