A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving in Wiltshire.

It's after the 19 year old driver was stopped late on Wednesday night (6 August) in Wroughton, where he failed a roadside drug wipe test.

He's since been released as other tests are carried out, and police are warning there's 'no excuse' to be in a vehicle under the influence.

PC Luke Hobbs, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “Day in, day out, we continue to stress the dangers of committing any of the fatal five offences – this includes driving under the influence of drugs.

"This can seriously impact your ability to drive and increases the risk of you causing a serious or fatal collision."

If you suspect somebody of drink or drug driving, please call 101 or 999 in an emergency.
