Man arrested after assault in Swindon town centre
It happened around 1.25pm on The Parade.
Police have arrested a man following an assault in Swindon town centre this afternoon.
At around 1.25pm, we received a report that a man had been assaulted in The Parade, Swindon. The victim, a man in his 60s, suffered a serious injury to his leg/ankle during the assault.
He has been taken to hospital for treatment.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in police custody.
