The B4040 Malmesbury Road has re-opened, after a crash led to a motorcyclist being airlifted to hospital.

The biker was involved in a collision with a tractor this morning, leaving him with potential pelvic and head injuries.

Police were called to the scene, near Blakehill Farm Nature Reserve, at around 10am.

A significant stretch of the road was shut in both directions, whilst officers tackled the incident alongside land and air ambulances.

The road closure was lifted at around 11:50am.
