Firefighters have been tackling a vehicle fire on the M4 on the outskirts of Swindon this morning.

At 1.26am, crews were called to reports of a lorry fire between junctions 14 and 15 westbound on the motorway.

Lanes 1 and 2 have been shut to allow the fire service to deal with the incident safely.

Work continues at the scene to remove the HGV. The highways agency advise motorists to allow extra time for journeys.
