Live music returns to Swindon's County Ground
The last event was in 2013 - headlined by Peter Andre
Live music is returning to the County Ground for the first time in more than a decade.
A two-day event has been announced at the home of Swindon Town.
It will take place across the Bank Holiday weekend, with a 90s theme followed by tribute acts.
The '90s Hangover' event will take place on Saturday May 25th, with the 'Could Be Real' Tribute Festival being held on the 26th.
Peter Andre headlined the last event at the ground, 'The Big Summer Session' in 2013.
Swindon Town, Chief Commercial Officer, James Watts said: "We are delighted to announce this huge event for the people of Wiltshire.
"This shows the capabilities of The County Ground in being more than just a Football Stadium and we look forward to a great event next May."
CEO, Anthony Hall added: "We are delighted to announce that the County Ground will hold its first concert in 11 years and we look forward to welcoming as many people as possible to the two-day event.
"We look forward to working with everyone and holding an event that we hope will become part of our diaries year after year.
"This also gives the whole community a great way to enjoy the County Ground not only through football but through music as we continue our drive to engage all."
