Wiltshire Police break up illegal New Year's rave

Wiltshire Police broke up an illegal New Year's rave in Pewsey which started last night (31st December).

Around 200 people were at the rave in Coombe Lane in Enford and officers found around 100 parked vehicles outside.

A police presence was maintained at the site on Monday which has been supported by the drone unit.

People starting leaving the site the following day (1st December), after the police intervention.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “The police presence will remain at the site until this afternoon.

“No arrests have been made at this stage.”
