Holloway calls on fans to “come on back” for 2025/26 season
The Robins have four more games ahead of them before the season starts
Swindon Town Manager Ian Holloway is urging supporters to consider buying season tickets for 2025/26.
He has said both the team and the club need to see more people supporting them this season.
Swindon’s first game of the season – away at Walsall – is only three weeks away.
Ian Holloway said: “Everybody who’s ever cared about the club, whether they’re with us or they’re gone, they’ll still be watching. And what hurts me is that people who live here, they’re still not coming back yet and they’ve still not bought a season ticket.
“My job is the team and have they not shown you how they care, how they never give in and how they always keep going? And we’ve added to that.
“They need you, we all need you, to get everybody else back here.”
Ian Holloway joined the Robins in November 2024, leading them to a 2-1 victory over Colchester in the first round of the FA Cup.
While Swindon Town were only just avoiding relegation when Holloway stepped in, they made their comeback and pushed for playoffs in spring 2025.
“It’s about passion, it’s about what we want to do for you and how proud we want to make you”, Holloway added.
“But we have to earn to earn that love. I think if we had another 19 games, we would’ve done it last season.
“The club and the community that we’ve got here is all ready to go again. You just need to tell your mates to come on back and give us a chance.”
Season ticket prices range from £45 for under-11s to £425 (Town end) and £450 (side stand) for adults.
With 23 home games a season, this means that children pay less than £2 per game while adults pay £18.48 or £19.57, depending on their chosen stand.
Discounts apply for under-18s, under-21s and over-65s.
Swindon Town’s first game of the 2025/26 is on 2 August.
Today, the Robins are travelling to tier eight club Melksham for their second pre-season game.
