A Westbury man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for drug offences.

32 year-old Khyl Harrington, of Meadow Lane, was sentenced at Salisbury Crown Court on October 10 after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine between 2019 and 2023 and for possession of criminal property.

Harrington was arrested on June 13, 2023 - after searching his home address officers seized cocaine with a street value of £38,000 and almost £6,000 cash.

Detective Constable Ian Tilley said: "Harrington was living a lifestyle that was beyond his means such as going on expensive holidays. This was all funded by his criminality."

“We know the huge impact and harm that drugs cause within our communities, from the impact on users and their family and friends to the associated crime and antisocial behaviour affecting neighbours and the wider community."

“Creating Safer Public Spaces for the public remains a key Force priority and we are determined to make Westbury and the wider county a hostile area for drug dealers."
