Two more people have been arrested, after a teenager was shot in Swindon.

The 17-year-old boy suffered potentially life-changing injuries, following the attack on Odstock Road in Penhill. The incident took place at around 00:30 on Monday 24 April.

Police have now arrested a man and woman, both in their 40s, on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

Detectives have also been given more time to question a 40-year-old man, who was arrested on Wednesday 26 April, on suspicion of attempted murder.

The investigation team is continuing to carry out extensive enquiries and is now appealing for more information from the public.

In particular, police are urging anyone with CCTV, doorbell cameras or dash cam footage from the evening of Sunday 23 April into the morning of Monday April 24 to contact them "as a matter of urgency". Officers want people to call 101, quoting log 54230042679.

Alternatively, information can be left anonymously by calling Crimestoppers.
