Fresh police appeal after man dies near Malmesbury in one-vehicle crash
It happened on the B4040 back on April 14th
There's a fresh police appeal for information after a man died in a one-vehicle crash near Malmesbury.
It happened midway between Charlton and Minety back on the 14th of April.
Two passengers were initially taken to hospital as a precaution, but a man in his 20s,died around a month later.
In a statement, officers said: "We are appealing for witnesses to a collision which took place near Malmesbury on April 14.
"On Sunday, April 14, at around 5.10pm, a black Volkswagen GTI was involved in a single vehicle collision on the B4040 Stonehill, midway between Charlton and Minety.
"Two passengers were initially taken to hospital as a precaution. One of the passengers, a man in his 20s, has sadly died around a month later.
"His family are being supported by specially trained officers and our thoughts are with them.
"The driver of the vehicle has been interviewed by officers and further enquiries are ongoing.
"We are appealing for anyone who recalls seeing this vehicle that day and may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the vehicle to please get in touch with us.
