Five in custody after Pinehurst stabbing
Two more people have been arrested, as police continue their enquiries.

Five people are currently in custody, after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in Pinehurst last night (10/09).
Officers were called to The Circle area at approximately 6.30pm, following a report of a large group of people in disorder.
The teenager was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. His injuries are not life-threatening and he was released from hospital a short time later.
Extensive enquiries were carried out at the scene and five people have now been arrested:
A 16-year-old boy from Swindon on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent
A 16-year-old boy from Swindon on suspicion of criminal damage
A 22-year-old man from Swindon on suspicion of affray
A 22-year-old man from Swindon on suspicion of affray
A 15-year-old boy from Swindon on suspicion of affray
They all remain in custody at Gablecross for further questioning.
Det Insp Matt Smith said: “This was a violent incident involving a large group of people in The Circle area during daylight hours. We know there were a number of witnesses, as well as people who would have been driving past the area who may have caught the incident, or footage of those involved, on a dash cam. I’d appeal to anyone who may have been in The Circle, Linden Avenue or Beech Avenue areas between 5.30pm and 7pm last night to please get in touch as you may have crucial information to help with our enquiries.
“We currently have five people in custody which is reassuring, however, our enquiries continue today. Violence of this nature is completely unacceptable and no doubt causes a sense of fear amongst those law abiding residents within the community. It is important to point out once again that incidents such as this are caused by a small minority of individuals who are intent on causing disproportionate harm.
“We remain fully committed to tackling these individuals as well as working closely with partner agencies so they can be dealt with robustly and proactively.
“Over the course of the weekend, residents can expect to see a maintained, heightened police presence in the area as we continue with our enquiries and provide reassurance within the local community.”
