The family of a Swindon teenager who died on the M4 have paid tribute to her.

On Sunday 5 December, Mia Fahy was killed near Wroughton.

"We are absolutely heartbroken at the loss of our beautiful and wonderful girl.

"Mia was the most loving and caring person, with the kindest soul and bubbly attitude.

"We just wish that Mia knew and understood how loved and cherished she was by so many," her family said.

'Her heart was too big for this world'

The 19-year-old was a carer at Nurseplus. She also had a passion for animals, with two guinea pigs and two cats.

Her family added: "Our lives are so much darker now without the light and sparkle of Mia.

"Her heart was too big for this world".

Wiltshire Police, which has described the incident as "tragic", are not treating Mia's death as suspicious.
