A driver is in hospital in a life threatening condition after a one-vehicle crash in Swindon last night.
Police say the 17-year-old was flown to hospital after his car left the carriageway on a bend on The Ridgeway / Draycott Road and collided with a tree.
Another 17 year old suffered hand injuries, and she was taken to hospital - with three other occupants uninjured.
In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: "A driver was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries following a single vehicle collision in Swindon last night. (24/7)
"At approximately 11.20pm, a car left the carriageway on a bend on The Ridgeway/Draycott Road and collided with a tree in a ditch.
"The driver, a 17-year-old man, was flown to hospital in Bristol with life threatening injuries.
"The front seat passenger, a 17-year-old girl, suffered hand injuries and went to hospital in Swindon.
"Three other occupants of the vehicle were uninjured.
"No other vehicles were involved.
