The family of a man who died after a crash in Highworth have paid tribute to him.
Motorcyclist Paul Patterson lost his life on 2 June, following a B4019 collision that involved the bike he was riding.
The Honda employee was a father of two children, Lauryn and Liam, and husband to Lorna.
According to his family, they are "devastated" by the 47 year-old's death.
'A strong, loving, respectful and honest man'
"Paul was a kind soul and family was everything. He loved his pets, especially his cat Yoda.
"He was a qualified carpenter and could turn his hand to all sorts. Always a perfectionist, he gave everything in life 100% and loved the motto that 'Hard work beats talent'.
"Paul will be remembered by us as a strong, loving, respectful and honest man who would always protect us," his family added.
Members of the public, paramedics and doctors who were at the scene, trying to help Mr Patterson, have also been thanked by the victim's family.
'He didn't deserve for this to happen'
Liam described his father as a "strong, kindhearted man who feared nothing.
"From what he has come from, to what he has given us is unimaginable. I promise to follow in his footsteps and protect my family, just as he would have wanted me too," he added.
In addition, Mr Patterson's daughter Lauryn called her Dad "the most genuine man I ever met".
She added: "He was my best friend ... and didn't deserve for this to happen".
Police investigations into the incident are ongoing, but no arrests have yet been made.
