Convenience store robbery in Swindon
Police are appealing for information after hundreds of pounds were taken
Enquiries continue after a robbery saw hundreds of pounds stolen from a convenience store in Swindon.
Police say it happened on Sunday night, when two men in balaclavas entered Delta News in Westlea - and threatened the employee with a weapon.
Any witnesses are urged to come forward.
On social media, officers said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a convenience store in Swindon.
"At around 7.55pm on Sunday (28/07), two men in balaclavas entered Delta News in Welton Road, Westlea, and threatened the employee with a weapon.
"The suspects then stole several hundred pounds from the till, before leaving.
"One of the suspects was wearing all black but is thought to be a white male, at least six foot and spoke with a local accent.
"The other suspect was wearing olive green shorts and a grey top with an oval logo on the front. He was thought to be white and around 5ft 9ins and also spoke with a local accent.
"Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
