Chippenham man banned from roads for drink driving
He's been banned for four years.
A man from Chippenham who was found to have been 'significantly' over the legal drink-drive limit has been banned from driving for four years.
27 year old Ross Miflin failed to give officers from Melksham station a sample of his breath when he was stopped back in July.
He later admitted he didn't do the test at first in a bid to receive a lesser sentence at court.
PC Mark Higgs, from Wiltshire’s Roads Policing Unit, said: “This was a serious offence for which Miflin faced the possibility of prison as a result.
“We will not tolerate drink driving and this case shows that trying to buck the system doesn’t work.”
