Child bitten by dog in Swindon

A one year-old child has been bitten by a dog in Swindon.

It happened in the Walcot area around 5pm on October 18 - when a black lurcher type dog ran up to the child and bit the one year old, causing a facial injury.

The dog then ran off and is believed to have bitten another dog before the owner left the scene.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact police on 101.
