Cabinet reshuffle at Wiltshire Council after resignation
Cllr Caroline Thomas has stepped down from her role
A major reshuffle of the Wiltshire Council cabinet has taken place following the resignation of a Cabinet Member.
Cllr Caroline Thomas has stepped down from her role as Cabinet Member for Transport, Street Scene and Flooding, due to a family illness.
She's been replaced by Cllr Nick Holder - who was Cabinet Member for Waste and Environment and is now Cabinet Member for Highways, Street Scene and Flooding.
Two new councillors have joined the Cabinet, in Tamara Reay and Dominic Muns.
Cllr Reay is responsible for Transport and Assets, while Cllr Mins replaces Cllr Holder as Cabinet Member for Waste and Environment.

Cllr Thomas said she had stepped down with a 'heavy heart' saying:
"There are very few circumstances in which I could have envisaged resigning voluntarily from my role but as we all know, family must come first."
She said she's proud of her achievements in her role as part of the Cabinet, which included increased funding for potholes and resurfacing, gully clearance and road signage .
Investment in camera technology to catch fly-tippers in Wiltshire and boosts to public transport are two things Cllr Thomas outlined as a particular highlights.
"I am also particularly proud of our award-winning fly-tipping campaign which has seen rates across the county fall and an increase in prosecutions. We have secured significant grant funding for Active Travel, maintaining bus services and adding Demand Responsive Transport. The depot strategy is now off the ground and the fourth Local Transport Plan is under development."
Wiltshire Council Leader, Cllr Richard Clewer has thanked Cllr Thomas for her 'service and great commitment to her role'.
"Caroline has worked tremendously hard with officers and other cabinet members to ensure we have been able to progress a number of our business plan priorities and deliver the best outcomes for residents and businesses across Wiltshire."
