Burst water main disrupts rush hour in Swindon

There's some delays on the roads this morning (17 June) around Swindon because of a burst water main.

We're told Whitehill Way is closed in both directions from Grange Park Way to the Tewkesbury Cross Roundabout.

Thames Water has turned the water off - and we are told that the road is impassable in places.

In a statement on social media, Swindon Borough Council said: "Please be aware a burst water main is affecting access at the Grange Park Way / Freshbrook / B4534 roundabout this morning.

"The B4534 is closed from the Tewkesbury Way and Freshbrook sides.

"No right turn off Grainsborough Way or left turn off Grange Park Way."
