Four weeks after Sarah Everard was first reported missing in south London, Greatest Hits Radio is participating in a special event on women's safety.

On Wednesday 31 March, an online discussion will see females from brands across Bauer Media sharing their experiences.

Men will also be attending, pledging their allyship and support to change the landscape of women's safety.

Following Sarah Everard's disappearance and tragic death, females across the country have utilised social media to discuss how they have felt vulnerable when alone - particularly at night.

As the #ReclaimtheseStreets movement gathered momentum, we spoke to Swindon's Domestic Abuse Support Service.

The charity supports females across Wiltshire who are at risk of danger.

Emma Rawlings, the Chief Executive, says "it's so very wrong" that women are forced to protect themselves:

You can watch 'We Need to Talk About Women's Safety' via our Twitter page at 20:00 GMT tonight.

We are also encouraging our audiences to give their views during the event, using the hashtag #IwalkwithWomen.
