Five men break into Swindon property and threaten occupants

Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted burglary in Swindon.

It happened on Friday afternoon (11 June) on Rosebery Street.

Five men broke into the property and threatened the occupants.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said:

"We’re appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Swindon.

"The incident took place at a house on Rosebery Street at approximately 4.45pm on Friday afternoon (11/6).

"Five men broke into the property and threatened the occupants before searching through the property.

"They left empty handed in a silver vehicle parked on Bathurst Road and drove off in the direction of County Road.

"No-one was injured as a result of the incident. All the suspects were wearing masks."
