Arrest amid 'assault and intentional strangulation' incident in Swindon

Police are appealing for witnesses after a road range incident in Swindon.

Officers say it happened on Thamesdown Drive on April 16th.

They add a 57-year-old man who was arrested has since been bailed.

Wiltshire Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted following a road rage incident in Thamesdown Drive between 1.45pm and 2pm last Wednesday (16/04).

"The incident is believed to have taken place before the turn off towards Groundwell Industrial Estate.

"A 57-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of assault, intentional strangulation and possession of a bladed article.

"He has been released on bail and our investigation is ongoing.
