Area of Penhill cordoned off over weekend as part of 'ongoing police investigation'

An area of Swindon was cordoned off over the weekend as part of an "ongoing police investigation" - according to officers.

Officers say the area was cordoned off to enable searches to be carried out.

Police say the cordon was lifted on Sunday evening.

But they cannot comment specifically on the investigation.
