21-year-old suffers life-changing injuries after being attacked in Swindon

It happened in the Old Town around 5pm on Tuesday

Police say a man has suffered "life changing" injuries following an attack in Swindon yesterday afternoon (28/06).

Officers were called to an area in Old Town around 5 pm, following reports of a 21-year-old man being assaulted.

An area in The Planks was cordoned off whilst enquiries continued.

The victim had been taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, his injuries whilst life-changing are not thought to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident at this time, but police say their investigations are ongoing.
