Police are searching for the owner of a dog which bit a 12-year-old boy in Amesbury.

It happened while the animal was off its lead in Hancock Drive at around 3pm on March 3rd.

The youngster suffered several puncture wounds to his leg.

Officers say enquiries to identify the dog owner continue.

Anyone who witnessed the attack, or has any information, is asked to call 101 and quote crime reference number 54240025222.
