As we see the back of Storm Christoph there's a warning that temperatures this weekend are going to plummet.

A yellow weather warning of snow and ice has been issued for the South West, with temperatures reaching minus 1C in some places tomorrow.

Many other parts of the country are affected too, with warnings in place for all of Wales, southern and north-west England and western Scotland.

Another yellow warning has been issued for the central, southern and south west regions of England on Sunday:

Storm Christoph moving away to the east will make for colder conditions into the weekend, it could reach minus 10C overnight in localised parts of Scotland, and as low as minus seven in parts of England.

Met Office forecaster Craig Snell said: “It will be feeling cold, I think that certainly will be something we will all be noticing, it will be colder than it was to start the week.”
