Congratulations are in order for Worthing's Love Island 2019 star Amy Hart, who has welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world with her boyfriend Sam Rason.

30-year-old Amy, who appeared on the fifth series alongside the likes of Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury, Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard, took to her Instagram page to reveal the exciting news, sharing a number of adorable photos of her baby boy from the delivery suite.

Friends and fans of the reality star were quick to comment on the news. Winter Love Island's Shaughna Phillips wrote: 'So beautiful! Congratulations to you all, glad you’re all home 🤍', with Love Island's official account commenting: 'Huge congratulations! 💕'.

Maura Higgins then wrote: 'Congratulations 😍❤️', with 2019 winner Amber Gill adding: 'Waaah congratulations 🤍🤍'. (sic)

Olivia Attwood commented: 'Ahhh congratulations. So beautiful', with Amber Davies writing: 'Oh congratulations darling ❤️'. (sic)

Although Amy and her boyfriend Sam haven't yet revealed their son's name, Amy did recently open up about the reason why she had to 'bin' her Disney-inspired name.

Following Molly-Mae Hague and Stacey Solomon's name choices, Amy told OK! Magazine: "I love Disney! I love the names Bambi and Belle. I wanted Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.

"Unfortunately, I met a man with the last name Rason. 'Aurora Rason' is too much of a mouthful, so my top name of all time has had to go in the bin."

After sharing her fertility journey on ITV Daytime show Loose Women in the past, Amy made the decision to announce her pregnancy to the panel back in August last year.

Despite admitting she's undergone three rounds of egg freezing, resulting in 12 eggs being frozen, Amy actually conceived naturally, admitting it was a surprise at the time.

She told the panel: "I might need them in the future. It was never about not being able to get pregnant, it was more about the longevity of my egg reserve… If I don't need them, then I'll donate them."
