World Book Day: Ideas from Sussex teacher which don't require expensive costumes

A former teacher says celebrating books shouldn't be costly.

A former East Sussex teacher has shared ways children can enjoy World Book Day today, without spending out on expensive costumes.

Emma Cate Stokes, who now works with the Happy Confident Company, says children can take part in book swaps, storytelling and scavenger hunts, among other creative ideas.

She says celebrating books shouldn't be costly:
