Woman in life-threatening condition following Arundel crash

It happened during rush hour yesterday (Monday 28th)

A woman has suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision between a car and a van in Arundel.

Police were called to Turnpike Road at around 5pm on Monday (October 28th) after a black Skoda Octavia and a white Citroen Dispatch van collided.

Officers said the woman remained in a critical condition in hospital as of midday on Tuesday.

A man received minor injuries.

Anyone who saw what happened or may have dashcam footage of the crash is asked to contact Sussex Police.

Officers would also like to hear from those who believe they saw the vehicles driving in the area prior to the collision.
