Woman and five children escape from house fire in Brighton

Investigators believe the cause is most likely electrical

Six people have made their way to safety following a house fire in Brighton overnight.

Crews were called out to a house on Queensway around 9.42pm last night (Monday 1st May).

A woman and five children had already made their way outside by the time firefighters arrived.

The fire has already been put out and smoke cleared from the area.

Investigators believe the cause is most likely electrical.
