Woman dog walker seriously injured in East Sussex park assault
Police have stepped up patrols in the area
Police are appealing after a dog walker suffered serious injuries in an assault in a park in East Sussex.
Sussex Police say the 48-year-old victim was approached by a man while walking in Adur Park in Stone Cross at around 4.30pm last Monday afternoon (March 27th).
She required hospital treatment for her injuries.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said:
"Enquiries are ongoing and members of the public can expect to see a heightened police presence in the area at this time.
"Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any information which could help."
