Woman dies in Crawley Down crash
Police were called to reports of the crash near Duke's Head roundabout just before 9 last night
Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash in Crawley Down last night (8 September) to come forward.
It's reported a grey Smart car left the road and hit a tree on the A264 Snow Hill at around 8.50pm.
A 23-year-old woman from London, who was the front passenger, died at the scene.
The driver was taken to hospital in London with life-threatening injuries and a back seat passenger suffered multiple fractures, he was taken to the Royal County Hospital in Brighton.
