Woman and dog attacked by German Shepperd in Shoreham

Both were injured in Middle Road playing field

Police are investigating after a woman and her dog were attacked by a German Shepherd in Shoreham.

The woman was walking in Middle Road playing field around 10am on Wednesday, October 4, when her dog was bitten.

The German Shepherd ran away when she tried to intervene but then came back, knocking her over, and attacking her.

The animal's owner is described as a white man in his 40s, of a large build and with brown hair. He was seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and glasses.

Anyone who saw what happened is being urged to report it online to police, or by calling 101 quoting serial 461 or 04/10.
