Woman, 19, critically ill after being hit by bus

A 19-year-old woman is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a bus in Brighton.

The teenager from London was knocked down in St George's Place just before midnight on Thursday 8 December.

She was taken to hospital by paramedics, where she remains in a critical condition.

Sussex Police said officers were eager to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the collision.
