Witness appeal following Hastings assault
A 28-year-old man remains in hospital
Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Hastings over the weekend.
A 28-year-old man suffered head injuries following the incident on Nelson Road at around 5am on Sunday.
He remains in hospital.
A 24-year-old man from Hastings has been arrested on suspicion of committing GBH and remains in custody.
Officers would particularly like to speak to a group of men nearby who may have seen what happened.
