Witness appeal following fatal A272 crash
A woman in her 30s died at the scene on Sunday
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash on the A272 between Buck Barn and Cowfold on Sunday (2 January).
At around 7.40pm a Kia Picanto collided with an HGV after an Inveco Daily box van made contact with the car.
The driver of the Kia, a 32-year-old woman, died at the scene.
A 33-year-old man from Hampshire has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released under investigation.
Witnesses are asked to call 101.
