Two influencers from West Sussex are looking to create the UK's biggest virtual festival.

Brad Hanson from Littlehampton and Sam Hughes from Bognor - known online as the Bald Builders - are looking to hold their Bald Festival in January.

They are asking people to take selfies in face masks which will be placed on boards at the performance site, rather than going there in person.

It is being held to raise funds for the pair's local hospice, Chestnut Tree House.

The festival will be broadcast live online with a safely-assembled cast of media stars from stage, charts and screen.

Brad told Greatest Hits Radio West Sussex:

"If we manage to pull this off and get 250,000 people together to upload their pictures, we're going to take over about a quarter-of-an-acre of land.

"A drone is going to fly up through the middle of the photos, it's going to pan round, come back down and about a foot off the ground it's going to pan over everyone's photos.

"Everyone in the world has been disrupted by COVID-19 and this our way of saying 'listen, you're there, we can't get away from it, the restrictions are in place, but we're going to put our positive spin on it and we're going to have a good time no matter what'."

Tickets can be purchased online.
