University of Chichester urging us all to 'Unite for Ukraine'

The University of Chichester is encouraging people from across the city to attend a special music event today, to raise money for Ukraine.

Any money raised during Unite for Ukraine today will go towards food and medical supplies for people fleeing the war-torn country.

Gemma Hopwood, Student Union President said: "The slogan is 'Make Music Not War'. The idea is that all tickets are free but donations are welcome.

"It's so we can give a little bit back to those in Ukraine and help out where we can.

"The more we can do as a country in support of Ukraine the better. Something like this is awful and it's not going to go away overnight."
