Sussex Police have confirmed two men have been taken to hospital after a crash on the A21 near Robertsbridge.

Emergency services attended to reports of a two-vehicle collision at 5am this morning (14 May).

The force say their injuries are serious but not life threatening.

National Highways has also confirmed the road has now reopened.

A spokesperson for the force said:

"Emergency services were called to a report of a two-vehicle collision shortly after 5am this morning (14 May) on A21, Robertsbridge.

"Two men, the drivers of each vehicle, were taken to hospital with serious, but not life threatening or life changing, injuries.

"The road was closed temporarily for vehicle recovery and reopened around 8am."
