Two men have been charged in connection with a burglary at a Greggs bakery in Worthing.

Police were called to Montague Street around 4am on Sunday, October 9th, after the alarm was activated.

Investigators confirmed some cash had been stolen, and just over a week later, two men were arrested at Worthing railway station.

Patrick Knight, 51, of no fixed address, and Robert May, 48, also of no fixed address, are both accused of burglary.

Knight has been bailed and May has been remanded in custody ahead of a trial appearance at Brighton Magistrates' Court in January.
