Tributes pour in for Burgess Hill teenager killed in Mid Sussex crash
The 18-year-old died after his motorbike crashed with a car in Ansty
A teenager from Burgess Hill has been described as ‘kind, caring, funny and intelligent’ following a fatal crash in Ansty, Mid Sussex.
Friends and loved ones have paid tribute to 18-year-old, Charlie Chandler – who died in hospital after his motorbike was in a collision with a silver Volkswagen along Cuckfield Road on August 30th.
His family said: “The loss of Charlie has left an immeasurable gap in our lives.
“He was kind, caring, funny and intelligent. He had just gained three A-Levels at BHASVIC (Brighton) and was about to start a year out working before going to university.
“His family and friends are devastated by the senseless death of such a vibrant young man, who had his whole life ahead of him.”
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading to his death.
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 63-year-old man from Hassocks, is helping police with enquiries.
