Three killed and four injured in West Sussex car crash
Police were called to the A285 near Chichester
Three people have been killed and four injured in a crash near Chichester.
The collision involving a BMW 220 and a Mercedes C200 happened on the A285, between Keepers Cottage and Littleton Farm Campsite in Duncton at about 7.30pm on Saturday.
Three people in the BMW were declared dead at the scene and a fourth person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Three people in the Mercedes were also taken to hospital, one with life-threatening injuries, one with serious injuries and a third with minor injuries.
Sussex Police said a section of the road was closed for several hours overnight but has since reopened.
The force has appealed for witnesses and dash cam footage.
