Ten crews tackle property blaze in Birdham
Birdham Road will remain closed for the foreseeable future and crews will stay on the scene for most of the day.

Ten fire engines remain on the scene of a property fire in Chichester this morning (Tuesday 15 September).
Crews from across West Sussex were called to a large fire at a property on Birdham Road, Apuldram, at 5:34am.
Those living nearby are being asked to avoid the area if possible and to keep windows and doors closed.
Birdham Road is expected to remain closed for most of the day.
Group Commander Toby Gray said a whole range of firefighting tactics are being used including fog nails and smoke curtains to get the fire under control;
"We are currently in attendance of a ten-pump fire in Birdham. Crews attended from the local stations at Chichester and Bognor Regis where we quickly made ten pumps throughout the incident to resolve it.
"We had 30 breathing apparatus used throughout the incident using a blend of firefighter tactics including smoke curtains and fog nails.
"The Birdham Road will remain closed for the foreseeable future and we will remain in attendance for the majority of the day to ensure we've extinguished the fire appropriately and we've carried out fire investigation activities."
A spokesperson from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said;
“We were called to a large fire at a property on Birdham Road, Apuldram, at 5:34am this morning.
"Ten fire engines attended the scene. Birdham Road has been closed and remains closed. The fire is now out and the incident has been scaled down to six fire engines.
"Crews remain at the scene damping down. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
