A teenager has been killed and two men seriously injured in a crash in East Sussex.

A car with five people inside came off the A21 at Silver Hill near Robertsbridge shortly before 1.35am on Wednesday.

A 19-year-old man from Essex, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 20-year-old man was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries and a 19-year-old man was taken to hospital by road ambulance in a serious condition.

Two 20-year-old men from London were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Sussex Police have appealed to anybody who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to contact them.
