Teenager attacked by group at West Sussex railway station

The victim had his bike stolen during the incident

A teenager has been seriously assaulted and had his bike stolen by a group of youths at a West Sussex railway station.

The victim was approached by a large group of young people while waiting on the platform at Goring-by-Sea station at 11.30pm on July 23rd.

He was then attacked by members of the group who punched, kicked, and stamped on him. They also stole his bike.

The victim suffered a broken jaw, cuts to his arms and head injuries.

Several bystanders were on the platform at the time of the incident, and officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it to help their investigation.
