15-year-old girl punched in Bognor park robbery

Police are looking to find a group of teenagers involved

Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in a park in Bognor which saw a teenage girl punched in the face.

The incident took place in Hotham Park at around 7pm on June 24th.

A 15-year-old girl approached, and began speaking to, a group of young people. One of the group assaulted the girl, punching her in the face and in the immediate aftermath, her purple iPhone phone was taken.

PC Matt Fisher said:

“The victim was left shaken and this has had a significant impact on her. A kind passer-by helped her home. We are keen to identify anybody who may have witnessed the incident and can help us with our enquiries.”

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 1378 of 24/06.
